Beyond the Humble Sheep
Our wool started its journey among the fertile plains of the South Island.
Perendale and Romney sheep roam this wild hinterland, grazing on carbon-rich grass and converting it into fleece year after year. Once shorn, our wool travels high into the Himalayas in the foothills of Mount Everest, where it’s carefully woven using traditional weaving techniques.
Our Nepalese family have a deep understanding of NZ wool, having gently hand-loomed our garments for over fifteen years. From here, our knitwear returns to New Zealand shores, ready for trailblazers on weekend escapes or urban adventures.

We use Perendale and Romney wool which has a high micron count, making for a reliable, durable wool garment that lasts a lifetime. This particular wool comes in hues of black, white, grey, silver and brown that readily takes natural dyes.
