We ship domestically & worldwide, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. All parcels are dispatched on a trackable service.
New Zealand Shipping Rates (NZ$)
- FREE shipping on orders over $250.00
- $10.00 for orders up to $100.00
- $15.00 for orders between $100.00 - $250.00
New Zealand Shipping & Dispatch
- We aim to dispatch all standard orders within 3 business days
- Allow 5-7 business days for dispatch during promotional/sale periods.
- Pre-ordered items will be dispatched within the time-frame specified on the product page at the time you placed your order. Pre-order purchases are not able to be cancelled once we have received your order.
- All parcels are sent via NZ Post (Monday–Friday) on a tracked service.
- Signature is required for added security.
- Authority to Leave (ATL) is available but must be arranged by the receiver. NZ Post does not accept ATL requests from senders. You may set up an ATL by clicking here.
New Zealand Delivery Timeframes
Once your order is dispatched, NZ Post aims to deliver your parcel as follows:
- North Island (Urban): Overnight working-day delivery (excludes weekends)
- South Island (Urban): 2-3 working days
- Rural: Allow an additional 2-3 working days
- Working days do not include weekends or public holidays
- NZ Post delivery targets are a guide only, and we do not guarantee that your item will reach its destination within the delivery target.

- $15 on orders up to $100.00
- $25 on orders between $100.01 - $200.00
- $30 on orders between $200.01 - $350.00
- $40 on orders between $350.01 - $500.00
- $55 on orders between $500.01 - $650.00
- $65 on orders between $650.01 - $800.00
- $75 on orders between $801.00 - $1,000.00
- FREE shipping on orders over $1,000.00
International Shipping Rates
Shipping on non-sale items is included in full-price orders to:
- Canada, Denmark, European Union (all countries), Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
- Flat rate shipping of NZ$100 applies during sale periods.

- $20.00 on orders up to NZ$80.00
- $35.00 on orders between NZ$80.01 - $148.00
- $50.00 on orders between NZ$148.01 - $228.00
- $60.00 on orders between NZ$228.01 - $279.00
- $70.00 on orders between NZ$279.01 - $378.00
- $80.00 on orders between NZ$378.01 - $400.00
- $90.00 on orders between NZ$401.00 - $600.00
- Flat rate shipping of NZ$100 applies during sale periods.

International Shipping Information
Delivery Timeframes
- We aim to dispatch all standard orders within 3 business day (sooner if possible).
- Allow 5-7 business days for dispatch during promotional/sale periods.
- Pre-order items will be dispatched within the time-frame specified on the product page at the time you placed your order.
- If you have ordered multiple items, and 1 or more of those items are on pre-order, we will ship all items together.
- Orders typically arrive within 3-13 days of dispatch.
- Once orders are handed over to NZ Post for delivery, Mount Kiwi is not responsible for any delays caused by international border control or customs clearance, and no portion of the delivery process can be expedited by either Mount Kiwi or the customer.
- If your parcel has not arrived after 14 days (or 21 days during peak periods), we are able to lodge an investigation with NZ Post on your behalf. Please contact us.
- November (Black Friday, USA) and December–January: Expect possible delays due to heavy sales & holiday shipping volumes.
Tracking

NZ Post tracking updates occur only at key milestones rather than daily. It’s normal for there to be gaps between updates. For example, your parcel may remain at 'International Transit' status until the destination country’s Customs department provides the next update confirming it has entered 'Destination Customs Clearance'.
A delay in tracking activity does not mean your parcel has been lost or is not moving through the postal system — it simply hasn’t yet reached the next scan point.

Once your parcel arrives in your country, it is handed over from NZ Post to your local postal service for final delivery. From that point, the most accurate and detailed tracking updates will appear on your local postal service’s website. NZ Post only receives a summary of those updates afterwards. You can use the same tracking number on your local postal service’s website to track your parcel.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 14 days from the date of dispatch (or 21 days during November (Black Friday) or December–January), the quickest way to receive an update on its whereabouts is to contact your local postal service directly with your tracking number.
We can also do this on your behalf by lodging an investigation with NZ Post, who will then contact your local postal service. Please note this is a lengthier process, as it involves communication passing between four parties (you, Mount Kiwi, NZ Post, and your local postal service).
It’s not possible for us (or customers) to contact mail centres, airlines, or customs/border control directly, as they do not provide public contact services. All enquiries must go through the official postal network using your tracking number.
Customs & Duties
- AUSTRALIAN ORDERS (over AU$1000 only) are subject to Australian Customs import duties/taxes. AusPost will contact you with an invoice payable before delivery can be completed.
- USA ORDERS are NOT subject to any additional customs duties, taxes & other fees upon arrival. These are prepaid on your behalf and included in the price of your purchase. Your parcel will be delivered directly to the address provided at checkout with no additional charges.
- ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORDERS may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or other fees based on your country’s regulations. These costs are the customer’s responsibility and non-refundable.
- We recommend checking your country’s import policies before making a purchase.

Returns Due To Delivery Issues
If an order is returned to Mount Kiwi due to customer action or inaction (including the circumstances listed below), a refund may be provided once the parcel is received by us. However, all costs incurred by Mount Kiwi as a result of that action or inaction will be deducted from the refund total.
These costs include, but are not limited to:
- The original shipping cost incurred by Mount Kiwi (including where “free shipping” was offered or a flat shipping fee was charged).
- Any return shipping fees charged to Mount Kiwi by the carrier.
- USA CUSTOMERS: All U.S. import duties, tariffs, and associated fees that were paid on your behalf and included in the purchase price of your order.
Examples of customer action or inaction that may result in delivery issues include, but are not limited to:
- An incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.
- A customer-requested redirection that results in the parcel being returned to sender (RTS).
- Refusal to accept delivery (including change-of-mind refusals).
- Failure to respond to carrier notifications requesting delivery rescheduling.
- Failure to collect the parcel from a collection point within the carrier’s specified timeframe.
- Failure to arrange redelivery after an attempted delivery notice.
- Refusal to pay any applicable customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees.

PLEASE NOTE: Once tracking confirms the parcel has been made available for delivery or collection, responsibility transfers to the customer.
All other delivery issues that are out of the customer's control will be resolved by Mount Kiwi as quickly as possible.
