Shipping
We ship domestically & worldwide, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. All parcels are dispatched on a trackable service.
New Zealand Shipping Rates (NZ$)
- FREE shipping on orders over $250.00
- $7.50 for orders up to $80.00
- $10.00 for orders between $80.01 - $99.00
- $15.00 for orders between $100.00 - $249.00
- A flat rate of $15 applies during sale periods.
New Zealand Shipping & Dispatch
- We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days (sooner if possible).
- Pre-order items will be dispatched within the time-frame specified on the product page at the time you placed your order.
- All parcels are sent via NZ Post (Monday–Friday) on a tracked service.
- Signature is required for added security.

Authority to Leave (ATL) is available but must be arranged directly with NZ Post. Instructions will be in your Shipment Picked Up email.
New Zealand Delivery Timeframes
Once your order is dispatched, NZ Post aims to deliver your parcel as follows:
- North Island (Urban): Overnight delivery
- South Island (Urban): 2-day delivery
- Rural: Allow an additional 2-3 business days
- Tracking details will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
Australia Shipping Rates (AUD)
- $15 on orders up to $100.00
- $25 on orders between $100.01 - $200.00
- $30 on orders between $200.01 - $350.00
- $40 on orders between $350.01 - $500.00
- $55 on orders between $500.01 - $650.00
- $65 on orders between $650.01 - $800.00
- $75 on orders between $801.00 - $1,000.00
- FREE shipping on orders over $1,000.00
- A flat rate of AU$30 applies during sale periods.
International Shipping Rates
Shipping is included in order price to:
- Canada, Denmark, European Union (all countries), Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
Rest of the World (NZD)
- $22.00 on orders up to NZ$80.00
- $33.00 on orders between NZ$80.01 - $148.00
- $50.00 on orders between NZ$148.01 - $228.00
- $60.00 on orders between NZ$228.01 - $279.00
- $70.00 on orders between NZ$279.01 - $378.00
- $80.00 on orders between NZ$378.01 - $400.00
- $90.00 on orders between NZ$401.00 - $600.00

International Shipping Information
Delivery Timeframes
- We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days.
- Pre-order items will be dispatched within the time-frame specified on the product page at the time you placed your order.
- Orders typically take an estimated 10-14 days to arrive after dispatch.
- Once orders are handed over to NZ Post for delivery, Mount Kiwi is not responsible for any delays caused by international border control or customs clearance, and no portion of the delivery process can be expedited by either Mount Kiwi or the customer.
- If your parcel has not arrived after 14 days (or 21 days during peak periods), we are able to lodge an investigation with NZ Post on your behalf.
- December–January: Expect possible delays due to holiday shipping volumes.
Tracking
- Tracking updates occur at key points (not daily).
- Typical tracking stages include:
- Processing by NZ Post
- NZ Customs clearance
- International transit
- Destination customs clearance
- Local courier delivery
- You can use your original tracking number to monitor your parcel with your local postal service.
- Once your parcel reaches its destination country, your local postal service begins updating its tracking information immediately as the parcel transitions into their delivery system from NZ Post's. Because they record these details first, their updates are usually more comprehensive. NZ Post receives a summarised version of this information later, which is why tracking directly with your local postal service often provides more detailed insights.

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 14 days (or 21 days during December–January), the quickest way to receive an update on its whereabouts is to contact your local postal service directly with your tracking number.
We can also do this on your behalf by lodging an investigation with NZ Post, who will then contact your local postal service. Please note this is a lengthier process, as it involves communication passing between four parties (you, Mount Kiwi, NZ Post, and your local postal service).
It’s not possible for us (or customers) to contact mail centres, airlines, or customs/border control directly, as they do not provide public contact services. All enquiries must go through the official postal network using your tracking number.
Customs & Duties
- International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or other fees based on your country’s regulations. These costs are the customer’s responsibility and non-refundable.
- We recommend checking your country’s import policies before purchasing.

Reshipping of Returned Items
If an order is returned to Mount Kiwi under the circumstances listed below, the costs incurred for the item to be returned to us, along with any reshipping fees, will apply. These charges will either be invoiced to you or deducted from any refund issued.
- An incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout.
- A customer-requested redirection that results in the parcel being returned to sender (RTS).
- The parcel being held at a collection point and not collected within the carrier’s time frame.
- The parcel’s tracking shows an attempted delivery, but the customer has not arranged redelivery with their local postal service. (Note: while postal services generally leave a card, failure to do so must be addressed directly with the customer’s local postal service.)
- Refusal to pay any applicable customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees.
- Delivery refusal for reasons other than damage or fault.
